melville are mega bitey but a track like broady will chew em up real quick but awsome on everything else

carlsbad ok on soft stuff but not as bitey and a bit skatey on hard but they are hard wearing so you will get longer life out of em

We chose carlsbad just due to not having to change them as often and they also suit the type of tracks we have around.

Coolie summed it up well about those 2 tyres but I prefer Vee Rubber VRM140competition series tyres for there durability and they are only about $45 for 12 inch. I find them to be a good all round tyre on both soft and hard terrain.

i got a millville on a 10" tyre and its wicked as!!!!! and ive had a carsbad on 12" and i hated it .....just feels to slippery for the size of it the look is even starting to get to me as its on like every single bike
