Hi everyone,
I have just joined the site and new into the bike world.
I have two young nephews that wanted to fix up a lawn mower as a project for me to help them with as I'm an aircraft maintenance engineer.
I recently bought a mongoose MX125F with an apparent seized engine. I checked it out and it's not seized at all which the previous guy seems to have no idea about engines. I bought the bike for $50 took it home, checked the engine, cleaned the plug, checked for spark, added new fuel (4 stroke) flushed the fuel lines and then it started!
I want to do a full rebuild with my nephews to teach them about the mechanics but wanted some thoughts and ideas about available parts, changes and improvements that can be done for this bike.
I'm assuming this bike is a copy of another brand perhaps, so are workshop manuals available?
I'll try and attach pics.
