cheers

i took the shitty china oil out of my XR as soon as i got it, put some cheapo Castrol 4T in it, did about 2 hours riding, then changed to motul 5100 ester and that shiz is awesome man

Castrol Active 4T is a good choice of oil for running a 4 stroke M/C in.

After the run-in period, it's fine to change over to a fully synthetic like Motul

The accepted run-in period on this web-site seems to be 3 tanks of gas - but personally I'd say 4 or 5 tanks would be nearer the mark.

The extra time is a pain in the ass - but it pays long term dividends in power and engine life.
