hey easy fix , just follow the steps and dont rush it , take your time and it will turn out perfect , remember to prime your patch b4 paint so it blends in the same and is harder to spot

so there is ashower on the other side of the wall ?? if so it doesnt mater , it will be fine , if the hole you need to cut out is larger than say 300mm x 300mm i would prolly put a few bits of timber behind it and then use paper tape to finish it off ,
