New Exhaust

hey guys i just bought a straight through exhaust big bore and now alot of smoke is coming out and burning smell can be smelt. it is a atomik nitrous 140cc big bore, how do i fix this. Thanx in Advance

Sounds like there could be oil in your exhaust. What colour is the smoke?

also mate it isnt idling at all now and just keeps stalling

could be just the pipe is to big for ya engine

and the smoke could be (if its a cheaper one) there not enough packing in the mufler or it could be running to rich as mentioned above

i know often when you replace the exhaust you need to rejet the carby, by the sounds of things your bikes running rich either move the e-clip on the needle or you might have to rejet the carby

A new exhaust will smoke and smell weird on first couple of runs, its just the packing burning, NO BIG DEAL just ride it will go away.

thanks mate its stopped smoking but cant get it to idle right so might consider rejetting it
