Hi everyone i'm new to mini riders. I recently piked up a old 82 Honda CT70.
sorry no pics I don't have a camera. I'm wanting to fix this thing up.
I managed to get it running by slapping on a cheap china carb and cleaning/gapping the points. The gears are sloppy in the trans and one of the intake bolts is stripped.
my plan is to rebuild the motor completely for a reliable bike.
Due to the price of quality parts my build will be slow as i gather the parts. So I am thinking of putting a budget China motor in it to ride while im working on the other motor.(so I don't rush my build) I'm thinking a GPX 125 but am asking because I don't want to get complete junk.
Any advice on engine quality in $300-$400 price range for a complete motor kit will be awesome. thanks
