Just got a new wheel and i cant even move the bearings with my finger they are that stiff. Do they have to wear in or what?
I was going to replace them before i installed the wheel but cant seem to get them out.
Any ideas on how to remove the stock bearings and replace in the back wheel?

screw driver through one end of the rim, push out the bering... make sure not to just push on one spot... gotta move it out evenly so yea

pulled my rim off just to give the bearings a grease and they feel out with a tap or two

the new bearings should spin freely in your hand if they don't take 'em back!

changing wheel bearings is easy is did a CRF450 in the back yard on the weekend.

you will need , Hamer, socket around the same outside size as the bearings & a drift about 5-8mm (metal rod of some kind)

us the drift to hamer out the bearing (no care needed there old)

then just carfully tap in the new bearings (tap around the bearing evenly) then use the socket to get the bearing in the wheel the rest of the way!

well the bearings in the rim are stock and dont move with fingers. Gunna get some good quality bearings to replace.
Thanks for the help i tried with a screwdriver but didnt budge.
