Hey guys my mate has a motovert RX with a new yx160 in it.. Motor has 200kms on it and ever since new it has slipped in 3rd and 4th gear at high rpms...it is more noticeable in 3rd gear... If you accelerate hard it will slip but if you cruise up slowly to higher ROMs it won't slip. We dumped the oil pretty much after the 1st 30 minutes of engine hours and I have never seen oil like this before.. It was lumpy like it had blobs of Vaseline through it... Anyway we have changed the oil 3 times now using Castro power1 10w40.

The clutch seems to be slipping during warm up but occasionally even when it is warm as well..

I have a z155ho in my RX with 4000kms and no issues at all and I'm using the same engine oil..

Could the original oil what was in it have causer premature clutch failure?

Also before anyone asks. There is plenty of slack in the clutch cable and the clutch arm has play before it engages
