no compression

hey guys hoping sum of you guys can help me out ive got a ddr200 and all of the sudden there is no compression when i try to kick start it. it takes me like half an hour to eventually get it going so if anyone has any ideas of wat i should do about it it would be greatly appreciated (its a four stroke by the way)

k thanx for ur help guys found out it was the valves but i gotta take it in 2 a shop 2 get em fixed coz i gotta drop out da mottor and i dnt have all the proper tools for that so thnx guys

Hey guys ,
Just curious to know what has to be done to the valves as my 140 has the same problem ??

is it just a simple resetting the valves or is it a total strip down of the head and reseating them ??

or is it a new set of valves needed ??

I have a brand new head that is bare it has seats and guides fitted can i just change my valves to that head ??
any advice would be a great help

Just check your clearances first. Do a search on how to adjust valve clearance and you should find a link to a BBR video.

ok i just checked my inlet and it was a bit tight so i reset it at .003 and she has compression again , runs like a charm to and idles a whole lot nicer as well ,
