Hey bros, some people reckons the a valve breather makes your engine lose power?

and how does a oil breather system effect your bike? is it good for bumpy tracks or jumps?

and what happens if you connect your crank case breather hose to the oil and valve catch can, eny effect or?

In a fresh engine, not noticeable.
If your piston rings are shot, (compression rings in particular)
there will be secondary compression in under the piston which
can push back up and make a difference.
Try undo the oil cap on an old motor while it is idling, you will hear the difference.
Much worse than this, and they start blowing oil out everywhere.
Same in the head, if the valve guides are worn, and you sit oil on them,
it will go into the motor.
Hope that explains it a bit.
