Oko 26mm Lifan 125

Hi all, so I swapped an oko flatslide 26mm carb into my Lifan 125. It starts and idles ok with a little fiddling with the choke on only. Well I can ride it around and it hauls a** with the choke on haha.
Current jets are the standard oko ones so 36 slow and main 100

Without choke on it coughs sputters and wants to stall when revved. I havnt touched jets or adjective the needle setting yet...

I am located in Sydney so basically sea level...

Any insights before I spend hours tinkering and spend money on jets....

Check for air leaks mate, get it running and spray some WD around the carb and manifold, it’ll start to cough if you find one.
