so... anyways :lol: has anyone done this timing mod by 50smods.com because i was thinkin bout doin it to my motard instead of buyin a $70 hitman cdi

yes the mod has been done by my mate with a chinese 110cc. i works well and you will feel that you will have a dramatic change in revs, for the cdi i reccomend the ada racing rev box, really goood cdi for these bikes 8)

my motard already revs out pretty far with the stock cdi and i dont want to blow my 4 stroke engine from doin too many high revs. what i meant was i was planning on doing this timing mod instead of buying a rev cdi box

ohhh i think a cdi would be safer if your engine allready has a high rpm, safer and easier 8)

well i think it revs high, but then again i've never heard a 4 stroke engine revving above 7000rpm so i dont know loud they can get. its just that i would have to pay around 70 bucks for a cdi. thats my main prob.
