hi all , im finally putting my new bars on my mini bike tmoz and my frend sed befor i put them on i need to drill sum hole ?? is this true , if it is where do i drill it and what for ?

yeah, he's right, drill a hole into his head when u next see him. no need for a useless hole into ya bars.

i just put new handlebars on my bike last week and needed no hole whatsoever. just undo clamps, put handlebars in, tighten clamps and bobs ur uncle. lol .

when u tighten the head stem bolts holding the bars in, tighten them doin the two bolts opposite each other in a diagonal direction, other wise if u do the two bolts on one side, it could bend/crush the bars by not evenly tightning the bolts together.
