g'day,
im planning to do the following mods to my mso 140s pit bike.
i was just wondering if any of yous would have any advice on the producs im thinking of using to update my bike.
im looking at a Race CDI unit. What performances and differenced would i get out of my bike???
advantages and disadvantages with the cdi??
and the lightend oil slinger. how would i be able 2 install this and again,, what advantages and disadvantages i would be experiencing on my bike!
cheers!
Ryan

snitchy made a thread on how to install one, how about you do a search for it!

advantages of a lightened oil slinger, seeing it runs of the crank shaft or near there it will have less load. . . so you will get a quicker response in the acceleration curve. . .

as for cdi im pritty sure this just alows you to rev the guts out of your bike :p

yeah watch snitchys vid, read his comments! its all good info! by the way i think he saied at some stage that you should do both the irk and the oil singer at the same time, because it can unbanence the crank if u only do 1

no poitn doin the oil sling without the irk
i read on planetminis that it unbalance ur crank and cause premature wear
correct me if im wrong

the gearbox only drives off one side of the crank... nuff said?
