Random Clutch slippage

hi guys

wondering if anyone has had a similar problem

or knows what it could be

when riding my clutch randomly slips

the bike will rev smoothly through the gear then BAM massive slip and motor hits limiter....then i back off and hit it again and its good to go

it happens very randomly

mainly in 2nd but has happened many times in 4th

can go for hours and not do it...then will happen out of nowhere

motor is YX140cc

but it was definitely what i was thinking of doing though!

must just be too much power for the standard clutch

My yx165 slipped the clutch real bad the very first time i gave it any throttle (3rd gear, and I run 18/30 sprockets). A set of heavy duty springs and plates will cost you about $63 delivered from akunar.com. Mine arrived in the letterbox today

i had that happen to me a few times, now i dont have 2nd gear at all...

ahhh crap!

serious....maybe its not a clutch issue...maybe its slipping out of gear
