rear shock too spongy...???

Hey knowledgeable ppl!!!

I recently bought a seccond hand DNM shock:

MT-AR
Eye to eye length 260 ~ 310mm
Travel 45 ~ 70mm
Body OD 42mm
Drive axle 16mm
Adjustable Rebound / Preload
Body made by steel
High quality surface finished
Spherical plain bearing (fish-eyes bearing)

And when i ajusted it to the right size for me there was no pressure or bounce, when i bounced on it (insert dirty joke here), it stayed down and didnt have any spring...

Is this a Air or oil shock...??

And how can i fix this??

was the shock working fine before u adjusted it?

dun know, it was tight as hell tho, the spring was compressed pretty hard...

is the shock correctly lined up and the bolts must not be too tight either

I think they are a nitrogen charged oil dampened shock

that happens to my fastace when i click it all the way to the right? but then i just put it back a few clicks and works fine... , is it that bad that you cant ride it? or doesnt it spring back AT ALL?
