Rust spots ????

hay all

on my hilyux i have the chrome front end..

seeing i live in qld and we have had that wild weather the bar has produced some rust spots

just want to know has anyone got some ideas on the best way to clean it ???


i have heard ALLOY FOIL and COKE... but not game to try it as yet...

Use a combination of a fine grit wet and dry firstly (if they are decent rust spot's), then Brasso (rub on and off), then Autosol. Make sure you use them in that order.

That will get it shining like brand new again. You can use that method for shining anything metal up and it works like a treat with a bit of elbow grease.

yer my old hilux had heaps of those rust spots on the chrome bumper, i left it!
it didnt need looks coz it sounded so crazy haha (Twin 2.5 dumpers out the back)
