shifter lever help needed!!

ok so i was riding today and i crashed my bike and it bent the shift lever rod.. not the actual shift lever but the rod tht comes out of the engine and has the splines on it for the shift lever... can anyone tell me how to bend it back because i dont have anymoney for a new engine.. any help will be very apriciated

buy a new shaft and swap it out..

It's a big job swapping shafts out.

You could try heating up the shaft and bending it back. Just be careful not to dmage the grooves the shifter slides over or it's game over anyway.

Another option could be if it's bent at the end and ok towards the motor, cut the shaft and weld another section on there.

Where are you located? Also a few places to get them repaired. You don't need a new engine.
