Just got a new bike Pro50z and when you start it up and give it a rev it stalls, sounds like its flooding or something?

sounds like it might be running to rich. just adjust the fuel air screw on your carby. take ya plug out and look at wat colour it is and let us know.

If ur going WOT before the bike is hot then yeah they'll stall. I did also read something on here from cactus jack about these engines stalling out if the throttle is snapped open, something to do with the cylinder not being able to create enough of a vacume to draw the fuel through... could be dreaming though, lol. Was awhile back

no dream, its true...too big a carbie is a big no no:)
theres a definite size, and overdoing i is just a waste of time....

but, now...stalling...um...its a new bike!!!!let it warm up...let it break in...ride around for a week... then pull your plug. (kill the ignition at full tilt, preferably after a looooooooong straight, keep the throttle open, and DONT let it idle). if its BLACK, then take the slide out your carb. remove the needle from the slide. put the lil "e"clip UP a notch.(so the needle is LOWER in the carb.) take another ride... the mixture screw on the side(sometimes bottom) of the carb is a LOW SPEED adjustment only...

it could even be that the jets unscrewed itself in the carb bowl,
OR the clip on the needle has come off altogether (this is when it idles fine but dies as soon as you crack the throttle in the slightest)

If your doing a plug chop at WOT why are you moving the needle? Its the main jet that is the most important factor at that point and that is what needs to be changed.

um, moving the needle is the fine tuning part, not the jet size... jet size is coarse/rough tuning. and the jet should be right from the factory to start off with...

actually, fuel level in the bowl/float height is the ultra-fine tuning bit... takes more effort to pull fuel up 12mm as compared to say 10mm... but thats just a bit too complex... he just wants to know why his new bike stalls when he goes to rev it...

im saying break it in and give it some time first... then start fiddling

Thats a fairly large misunderstanding of how a carb works... That said stalling at part throttle does suggest that the needle needs to be adjusted, after running in, valves adjusted etc

haha bitchin again ay? lol i can sugest run it in and let it warm up befor touching the throttle at all make sure the choke is off after warm and dont pull throttle till choke is off
