Hey guys just wondering. Just bought a 140cc lifan oil cooled crankcase fed motor. Stator nut is loose so just wondering if it needs to be done up to a specific torque or just do it up F.T?? Thanks.
I do mine up with a rattle gun set on low, but ALWAYS check the condition of the woodruff key before tightening it up. The key may have sheared off when the nut came loose, which throws out your ignition timing.
if you havent got a rattle gun, youll have to make something to hold the crank still... bit of bar with two prongs that go into the slots on the flywheel sorta thing...just remeber you have to get a socket on the nut when you make it
