stock throttle to 1/4 turn , what cable do i need

hey guys ,
thinking of putting on a 1/4 turn throttle and i was wondering if you can use the stock throttle cable or do i need a special cable to fit the 1/4 turn jobby ,

did mine today, used same old cable...

with certain 1/4 turn throttles u have to trim some of the coating off of the cable

throttles can be a pain in the neck but just swap it over and see were your at.. make adjustments from there

just swap it over and see what happens, i had to extend my inner cable with mine, but some dont need it.
