i have one, when i baught my bike, the guy said you can change the tyre around and it will change the compond?

Kenda Carlsbad tyres and some others have 2 different compounds, hard on the front of the knobs and intermediate on the rears so when you reverse the direction of rotation of the tyre you are efectivly chnging the compound.
