taking off in 2nd

for the people who have a 1 down 3 up gear pattern have u ever tried taking off in 2nd not 1st????

HI,
I always take off in 2nd as My rear sprockets needs a few less teeth.
But having said that, when I was racing I always took off in 2nd as they still do now..

Yes. I dont see the point of 1st gear on minibikes.

never rlly tried, i don't rlly try stuff, just ride the thing, don't rlly give a hsit wat gear, who rlly cares, jut try it 4 ur self if u wonna know, that wat i do! unless its something serious & ur worried about crashing or srewing the engine, it would make NO differene, maybe take off 5km per hour faster

yeah maybe pascal125 but it makes all the difference when ya racing. by the way try takin off in 3rd its fun

its hard taking off in 1st in races especially if the other bikes are louder than yours, when i race i take off in 2nd as the gear change from 1st to 2nd slows you down and also my engine used to rev out fast in 1st. only really used 1st during the winter to just warm her up a little so it wouldn't stall.

For good takeoffs from the gate put yer Pitty in 2nd peg the throttle and go for it.
