throttle problems

i was taking off the grip that is on the throttle and when i tried to twist off the grip by spinning the other way when *CRACK* the throttle is now able to spin both ways!! if i twist the throttle the wrong way enough i can rev it. any ideas of what i broke??

i was thinking of getting a 1/4 turn anyway. where can i get one and how much $$$ ???

If it wasn't the cable that broke it's probably irrepairable.

a 1/4 turn is around $70 from most places.

Wouldve just broken a bit of plastic off from inside the throttle housing, get a new one.

have you looked at 24moto.com? they are not the cheapest shop on the web but they have just about everything one would desire, and the are quick to deliver too, in my experience anyway... otherwise Ebay would be a safe bet.

my friend did this if u keep spinning it the opposite way u will eventually snap the cable

and no its not a 1/4 turn hence thats why i have this as a spare
