ttr50 kick start kit

hi guys anyone on here fitted a kick start kit on a ttr50 ? looks easy to install but one thing could someone tell me were dose the clip go [not circlip]dose it go in grove on the wheel ratchet or next to it, cant see in picture on the instructions
