URGENT Help needed

Hey guys, my brother just bought a HSR with a yx 150, ive been told it has been restricted because there is plenty of down power but once it has reved up it dies a bit and starts bogging down? other than that its rideable just it cuts the top end power, How can i remove it or is it carby tune??

I would think it's a carby tune mate. Highly doubt a YX150 would be restricted.

What brand carb is on it?

The jetting will be too rich and drowning the spark at WOT

Its a Mikuni carb, also it dosnt want to kick start either.. Ive had to roll start it, its only got one yellow wire going to the coil, and it looks like there should be another wire going to it :confused-smiley-014

That's 100% your valves then if you have to bump start.

Inlet should be: 0.003 and exhaust 0.004.

There are help guides around here if you search which explain how to do it.

Start there first.

the engine in the bike is the lifan 150 not a yx. do your valve clearances and then clean and tune the carby.
