If you have [email protected] on your messenger list be warned that his PC has a virus. DO NOT accept files over messenger.
I dont know if he is aware of the problem so appoliges macca but i tryed to tell you

I added him awhile ago but didnt hear anything till these infection attempts

what happens is he has excepted it off another person the same way
the only way to get rid of the virus is to delete msn immediatly

yh i have him he bought my brothers bike it comes up all the time lol, heaps of people have it so meh

is that the one that says "oh i took a screenshot do you know what this error is" or "what would your parents say if they saw this pic of you?" and then it try's to send you a file?

yeh that would be it alot of people have it and dont no about it pickles from this site has it cause hes on my msn and it also ways trys to send me files

Hi everyone,

As I deal with this stuff for a living, and I have more fun here
than just about anywhere else, thought I should try and help out a bit.

This may be an option for secure messages.

meebo - online web IM for AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk messengers
Haven't tried it myself yet, but I will report back with a review when I have.

Gaim is a more secure program to use instead of messenger.
My clients constantly bring machines infected through messenger,
most business's will not allow it on site.

For bulletproof browsing, ( if you have enough RAM),
you can't beat this one, truly safe surfing.
Browser Appliance

Shouldn't be telling you all this, will do some people out of work LOL

Easy way to block virus senders is ask them if they sent the file if they reply no simply dont open it. but if the same thing gets sent over and over lol u know he has a virus.

Yeah, there is one doing the rounds through yahoo and messenger.
It hides in Internet Explorer.
Just using Firefox (Mozilla) will eliminate a very large percentage of these.

1 of my friends got this 1 saying 'i found this pic of u could i add it on myspace' then it transfres this thing

but there is a funny 1 that my cousin has its a emoticon tht says 'downloading virus' scared the crap outta me lol

You know its a virus when you get sent a "picture" and then you have to agree an exe file
