What boots should i buy?

Im looking for a full length boot.

I want to spend around $200-300 mark.

Ive had a look at the Fox comp 5 and the Alpine star tech 7.

I ride mostly trails, and the occasional MX track.

Any suggestions would be appriciated.

work boots usually run two sizes bigger than regular shoe sizes. Ex. If you wear a size 10 shoe you probably wear a 8 or 8.5 in boots. Wear two pairs of regular socks instead of one pair of thick socks, you will get less blisters this way. It is better to buy snug boots because they will stretch out anyways and snugger boots are easier on your feet. On a side note, the best pair of work boots I have ever owned are Hoffmans.

thats if you didnt mind wearing someone old boots..

I scored a pair of 50/50 icon tarmac for $15 buck yesterday..
Hit them up in the washing machine look like new..
(But i think there more Onroad then Dirt but i give them a go still BOOTS for $15 bucks)

I got a pair of Fox Comp 5s for under $300bucks and a pair of "odurless" Moto socks chucked in.

Thought it was a pretty good deal seeing as the boots were $290 and the socks were $45 bucks.
