what to look for in a dirt bike?

hay all im in the market for a dirt bike, but i would like to know WHAT i should look for on a good dirt bike?? i dont whant to know "get a thumpster""get this that"ect i would like to know WHAT i need to look for??? lie suspension,wheel base,height ect
hope you can help me out.

philly, the 4 stroke with the white plastics looks to be good value as i can even see in pic that this bike has an oil cooler fitted which is a bonus, the frame and suspension look tough as well, what is the brand of engine to need to find out ? also forget the 2 stroke dirt bikes.

dont get any of them bikes, they are absolute fken shit!
If you want a VERY good quality bike, talk 2 lilscottie (he's on these forums) he dirt bikes & parts.
