Well if you don't at some point your going to buy a new motor and come here and wine about how much it cost...

(you wont be able to ride it..... lol) it will eventually get lower on compression untill its forked.

eventually the compression will run that low, taht you wont be able to start it, your dad will be pissed at you for not looking after the bike he bought you, and it will sit in the shed rusting away for years...
a new set of rings into an 85cc two stroke is not rocket science..

depends on how far gone you may get away with just doing the rings or it may need a piston, ring your local bike shop they will give you a rough quote on want parts will cost and than labour if you need them to do it (piston, rings, pin, clips, head and base gasket)

just hold it wide open, 2-strokes never need servicing
