Whats the diff between a pitbike and a mini bike?

Im sorta new to this and i was just wondering if anyone could tell em what the diff between pit bikes and mini bikes are? If anything at all.

no pitbikes are minibikes, but the funny thing these dayz with all the gay insurance & stuff only top pro's get to ride minibikes around the pits!
