Yamaha TTR90 upgrade to Kawasaki KLX125?

Hey guys, I've got a Yamaha TTR 90 with aftermarket sports exhaust and gold handlebars which has been my first bike and have loved it but after riding the other day I feel like I want to upgrade to a 125, and I don't really know much about Kawasaki and whether they are any good, especially compared to my yamaha which i've never even had to touch in terms of maintenance (other than snapping the spark plug in the car).

Is a Kawasaki going to run as nice as the Yamaha does, I've seen an ad for the kawasaki for around 1800 and I can sell my yamaha for like 1500 so for that $300 i'm pretty happy if it's going to bring me some good rides.

ANDDDDD if not then what else is a good 125 bike for a cheap price, less than 2400 realistically. Cheers
