This is what happens when your piston goes sideways at high rpm.

You think it will buff out?

vvvv Magnetic sump plug didn't help at all. :bigcry:

vvvv Luckily the V2 head copped a slightly bent valve.

vvvv Slightly cracked piston for sale. Hit me up for offers.

vvvv Check out what happend to the barrel! Rod snapped and really wanted to escape.

It will buff out ;)

Was that the praccy bike or the bigbore racer? how many hours also was it a clip failure or a big messup and forgot to put the c-clip in rite?

Nah not my bike, was Eddie's. Happened on the last lap of the last race at Undera. Went too long on the same barrel and piston. Not sure how many hours.

Bloody hell let this be a warning to "shell be right" attitude lucky the head is not to bad

Bit of jb weld and she'll be right! Wow that's total carnage, top work!

$500 worth of jb weld and she's good as new

This has to win the "greatest engine carnage pic" ever lol

I'd be spewin haha

i was even closer

man did it go up

i was like hey eddie you just dumped a whole lot of oil real quick

ough wait a minute fire as i was 3rd tapped going passed him

i've certainly not seen an engine lunch that bad for a long time

It must have only gone sideways for one stroke in the bore man thats crazy

Decent amount of damage! Looks like a dogs breakfast in there

that is out of control man is there any idea on how this could of happened

Only if you could install another rod you would be halfway to a mini v-twin.

I would be building an enclosed glass coffee table and siting that fine example of a catastrophic failure in the middle for all to drool over.
