z50 motor

Hi guys i was wondering if the z50 motor can be put in a crf frame?

it can i have seen a crf50 getting around with a z50 engine.

but don't kid yourself the crf/xr 50cc motor and the z50 motor is 2 different motors unless your refering to the 98 on wards zed's. There are many variations to the z50 motor. Can anyone clarify this?

There are 6volt and 12volt Z50 engines,

So wiring will be your main concern dependant on which engine you have,

But as for bolting it up, than yes itll bolt up no worries!

Can't fit the crf50 motor components into the z50 motors (unless 98 onwards I think)I take it though it should bolt in your frame no worries , Is it the crf50 motor with the short conrod and the z50 with the long? Always been curious to know the difference , z50 cast iron head on earlier models? Where as the crf50 has the cast aluminium? Not sure
