z50 rego questions

Hey guys,

Im in the progress of restoring my Z50 with the long term goal to get it registered for the road and i have a few questions. ( Im in nsw )

1. Will i need a Motorcycle licence to ride it or not because i have heard it will fall under car licence as it is "49cc" .

2. The bike has an 88cc big bore kit on it but is marked as 49cc, is their anyway it could be caught out when its inspected?

3. What are the requirements for road rego, i know blinkers, Horn, lights, do i need a mirror or anything else?

If it has the 88 bore kit and barrel but has 49cc on the barrel the only way they'll know is if they take the head off and meausre it up..

Go onto the RTA web-site and you'll be fine.. You do need mirors, break lights, head light ect ect. Oh and Yes you do need a moto liscene.
