zongshen CG 250 leaking oil into fly wheel

hi all i have a zongshen 250 pit bike and its leaking oil into the flywheel/stator casing at first i thought it was the seal but theres a half circle hole near the bottom above the oil drain plug and when you lean the bike over the oil pours out there the hole is supposed to be there as ive looked at a casing on the net and it has the same hole any help would be great

The 250s have oil in the stator/magneto casing mate, so all is normal, unlike the horizontal pitbike motors that are dry in the magneto case.
