    PW80 Bar-B-Q

Well bugger me it turns out the manual is just like the wife always has an opinion but isn't always right :) Manual says BP6HS but when I got the bike it had a BP7HS in it. I changed that out for the manual spec (BP6HS) when I gave it a service. However when the issue appeared I tried the 7 back...

    PW80 Bar-B-Q

Spark is great and very strong, had the flywheel off when I did the stator and had double checked it. I gave the exhaust a clean out when I repainted it but I may take another look at it. One thing I didn't mention was when I got the bike (4 mths ago) it did start and run Ok. Was a little hard...

Hi All Before I have a white and blue bonfire I thought I would post my frustrations here to see if anyone has some advice I can use. I have a mechanical background and have rebuilt half a dozen bikes and do all my own servicing, but this thing is giving me the sh#ts! PHASE 1: It is a PIG...

    KLX 110 won't start

You can bump start TTR's DRZ's and KLX's if you don't have a clutch, you just put them in second as the little neutral sensor only has a sensor node for first gear not second and third. I have had to do it a few times with my mates TTR and DRZ. Just got to get some weight over the back wheel...

    KLX 110 won't start

All fixed, earthed out the neutral sensor and presto! Lesson learned as the sensor checked out per the book for resistance etc. Thanks everyone for their input. Kind Regards Gav

    KLX 110 won't start

Well replaced the stator and still no spark. Anyone in Sydney that has a working one that I could borrow to test? Kind Regards Gavin

    KLX 110 won't start

I think it may be the stator (but then again I thought it was the coil!) as when I use my volt meter grounded and positive to the blue wire from the stator I don't get any voltage or if I do it's less than half a volt, should be around 4.5v according to the manual. Found genuine brand new on...

    KLX 110 won't start

Ok bridged the starter switch and still no go. Also tested the switch with a battery and a bulb and the switch works fine.

    KLX 110 won't start

Well changed the coil and the plug and basically I get a spark about every fifth or sixth kick of the starter and it is just a short spark. I have checked the neutral switch and it has 0 resistance which is as per manual. So I guess it's magneto next? or any other suggestions? One thing I...

    KLX 110 won't start

Well have checked all the electricals and looks like the coil has 0 resistance both primary and secondary (checked with two meters). Anyone know if these things just break like that? When it stops it stops I guess....

    KLX 110 won't start

Yer defiantly seems electrical, have tried a new plug etc but will try bridging the kill switch and see how it goes.

    KLX 110 won't start

hI I have a KLX110 05 that usually starts first or second kick. Went riding with the young fella today and all went well for about an hour then he stopped and turned off the bike using the kill switch and now the bike won't restart?? Have checked all the vitals and think it may be a dodgy...

    Rear Wheel

Thanks mate, having trouble getting rear sprokets (want to go to a larger one) for the original tho that's why I am looking at the upgrade. The original wheel has a 5 bolt sproket and most of the AM sprokets out there are 6 bolt to suit the jap bikes. Thanks again for your help tho
