    I wonder if I could get my cr500 motor in a pitty,:rolleyes: I read that 2 stroke marine engines that are direct oil injection have reduced the emissions to almost the same level as 4 strokes.:eek:

    before you crack that thing open you might try this: prop up the back wheel so it spins, remove the sparkplug to reduce the resistance of the motor. remove the flywheel cover on the left. 8 bolts no oil to deal with. There is a little black plug (#20)that hides the bolt for the shift...

    thanks for the quick reply, how about the clutch disk, gpx has 5 and lifan has 4. Does it use the 13mm piston pin or the 14mm pin? Gpx is usually the 13mm pin.
