I would go with what sean01 has advised, quote "92 is perfect and 96 is border line too big"

On new bikes it doesn't take long for the inlet valve to zero out.
I have a feeling this may be it as it will cause hard starting and backfiring through the carb.
The engine is showing symptoms of firing when the inlet valve is slightly open thus pushing unburn fuel back throught the carb or a bad cdi which is giving out irrigular spark pulses and causing the engine to fire at the incorrect part of the stroke cycle.
Can be caused from a zeroed inlet...
Im using 17 front and a 37 rear for all round, running 10 inch rims and lifan 140 in my 50. To say the least it hauls! This setup wouldn't be real flash on a 125 as the accelaration would suffer.
On a 125 I would stick with a 16 front and 37-39 rear
