Noises are no different on starting. It's nit under warranty, I bought it second hand with30 mins on the hour meter. Gear meshing was the same thing my thought. Would I be best to ake it to a mechanic?

havent drained oil yet, but will do on weekend. What do you mean by metallic? metallic in colour or pieces of metal around?

Yes Sean it is jerking in and out of the gear. Thats exactly whats its doing.

Alright, DHZ checked bolts and they were slightly loose, but nothing serious. Tookmit for a ride and within 5 meters it was still there. It's really bad, un ridable. My dad reckons its then clutch which he feels is sliipping and not engaging. Any idea?

Chain tension is fine. Checked that twice, when it started Ok so check all engine bolts is the first one for me to do check out?

Thanks DHZ. Teh front sprocket has a fair bit of play on it from side to side. I would say 5-8mm of play. What do you think, could that be it?

Hi tech masters Inhale DHZ 160 r outlaw with approx 3.5 hours on it. Problem is since last weekend, it's feel like the clutch is slipping in and out of the gear. It engages all the gears but then sort of shudders. Almost like if you had bad fuel..... It started in 2 gear only but now it...

No the C clip is still on the needle. Its a additional piece of flat metal, sort of shaped like to arc's back to back. Sorry pretty hard to explain. Any ideas?

HI gents Bought a new 1/4 throttle for my DHZ, and now need to replace throttle cable for a longer one. I have stripped everything and removed the old cable without any issues. When I went to replace the cable, I accidentally pushed the needle out and without noticing a sort of "boomerang"...

So r u saying there will b no differance? I spoke to dhz and it just a matter of slight modification to make it fit? Any other thoughts out there? Has anyone got one fitted?

I got a DHZ 160r Outlaw and just wondering if I get a Pro Circuit T4 pipe, if its going to worth it? It will probably sound better, but will i notice a improved performance for the $350-$400 spend? Thoughts?

Hi guys Just wondering which oil to use to replace my oil? The DHZ website says the bike uses 20w50, but have read a few forums and everyone seems to use 10w50.... Just wondering which one to use, to get the best results and keep it maintained properly. I have a DHZ 160R outlaw Thanks...
