Zongshen 140 and YX140 parts interchangability?

Hey guys, I need to replace the head on my Zongshen 140cc, is it possible to bolt a YX140 head in place? Also considering replacing the barrel and pistons. Can anyone enlighten me which parts are interchangable? i.e Could I use a Zonger head, XY140 barrel/pistons? Could I use an XY head and...

Zongshen 140 head gaskets, oval or round hole?

Hey guys, I've got a Zongshen 140cc engine ZS1P56FMJ which I'm presuming has a 56mm bore. I've seen YX140 gaskets for sale that I've been told will fit my bike, do I need the gasket with the round oil hole or the oval oil hole? Cheers

Zongshen 140 other names? Need gasket set

Hey guys, I have a Zongshen 140cc engine in my postie bike and have ridden it halfway around the world, now I need some head gaskets here in India. I need to get them as quickly as possible (China hopefully) but I'm having a lot of trouble finding them online. Are the Zongshen 140 gaskets...

    Cylinder head temperatures

Hey mate, thanks for all that. I do have the stock oil cooler installed. I didn't realize that the oil needed to pass through those banjo points to ensure proper lubrication - that is definitely good to know. This is the carb I'm using: Mikuni High Performance VM22 PZ26 26mm Carburetor Carb...

    Cylinder head temperatures

Hey guys, any of you running a cylinder head temperature gauge? I became a fan of them after running a Vespa through Death Valley in a sand storm. Managed to prevent a blowup by dropping down a gear and increasing the oil flow rate. Mate wasn't so lucky. I've recently put one of the Trailtech...

    Smaller head on larger case?

Thanks for that info. I decided to go the legit way and filled in forms and emailed structural engineers. After speaking to the "Top Dog"safety officer he said I could do it as a basic mod, just take it to the test shed and get them to change the numbers :) No engineers, no TAC meeting, no...

    VM26 Fakuni on a Zongshen 140cc

Cool, thats good info thanks. I'll set mine up like yours and give it a whirl. With those settings on your 140 it sounds like you could do with an upjet too, no? That screw you mentioned, is it fuel or air or mix? With the bottom of the carb off I have main at the bottom, next one in the...

    VM26 Fakuni on a Zongshen 140cc

Hey guys, got the Zonger 140 into my ct110 and trying to get the carb dialled in properly. I bought this: Mikuni High Performance VM22 PZ26 26mm Carburetor Carb For Motorcycle Dirt Pit Bike ATV QUAD 110cc 125cc140cc Motocross-in Carburetor from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com |...

    Smaller head on larger case?

The Zonger has 140 raised on the cylinder. The Ct110 head has a different hole pattern so that won't work. Anyone know if a Zongshen 125 or 110 head would fit? It would only be temporary and wouldn't have to run well.

    Smaller head on larger case?

Yep that's cheap and easy option B, anyone know if option A is possible?

    Smaller head on larger case?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if I can put a smaller jug and head on my Zongshen 140cc? I have a CT110 engine and I want to know if I could put the piston, jug and head on the Zonger temporarily for "legal purposes". If not, would another smaller capacity Zonger (110,125cc) head setup work? Are the...
