yes i would try some mineral oil, never missed a beat in my bikes, and i have heard too that some oils make your clutch slip, otherwise try the adjustment like someone else has said,
if both of those fail i have some new hd clutch springs, left out of a build i was going to do but never got...
mate im in the gong and will do it for you for a small fee, and yeh makes sure you know the shop before going in and asking them to do it as you might get some unfriendly responses
the flatslide carbys have a flat slide its as simple as that which have less resistance and turbanlance than the round slide carbys, however from what i have read and observed the good genuine carbs dont have much difference depending on the slides
heres mine since i wasnt able to enter it last month,

hey guys i got one of these last week and its turned out great, its got a 125cc lifan engine, knobby tyres and a cradle frame, picked it up for a decent price and i thought it was a pretty good deal as they also threw in a set of taper bars and plastics of my choice of colour, for FREE...
when you say 50 i hope you mean crf50 as the lifan cam covers are a different size, not really much to it to put it on though, just undo the screw on the other side remove the old and put the new one on, and like matty said dont overtighten it, just a bit past nip.
get a fourstroke engine, however i think there is a few parts available for them have a look at maylands, but whether they are compatible is a whole nother question
this could get ugly bout the skier/boarder verdict, but personally i think that skiing is just plain gay, it looks wack and alot easier to do your knee in
also with the beginner boarders, i have had just as many skiers stack it into me, try to hit me etc, i think it is all in your head mate
i like it when you tell people that your making a snow rail, and they ask if your bringing it to the snow, i cant think of anything else then shoving a 4m long rail in your boot to go and pay $100/day to use it
it wont run right till you change the internals, the 2 stroke have different internals to the 4 stroke carbys, something to do with a emulator the thing the main jet screws into, and a couple other things
sounds sick, do you have any pics,
we use a drop in ramp, kind of sketchy, but thats half the fun, and yeh, we use perspex too, its $$$ but i can get offcuts for free so we have built boxes for $20-50 before that come up pretty good
