    Time For A New Frame

Nah, its a straight swing arm, not an tri/A frame. I just sent Pete at Mekone an email, hopefully he can help me out. I also sent Ken and Linda from MSO an email asking if they have got any alternatives. Thanks for the help Hillz, your a champ.

    Time For A New Frame

Thanks Hillz, I checked out their stuff and acording to their website they only have 3 frames on offer, the twin spar chromolly frame is only for use with a A Frame swingarm and the other two are a little out of my price range! (They cost almost as much as the bike HAHAHA). I might however...

    Time For A New Frame

G'day Guys! Geez, its been a long time since i've been on the Forums, but i guess this is what happens when you get busy with life! Anyway, whilst i have not been able to find time to post on here, i have found some time to be hitting the bush on my bike (MSO X6R). Unfortunately, last...

    MSO...We Salute You

Hey All, Well finally it happened. I GOT A BIKE!!! After much stuffing around and waiting for people to get themselves organised we finally got 3 X6R's from the guys at MSO. I just wanted to publically thank them for all they did for us during our purchasing process. Linda and Ken are...

    2 Stroke Lovers Help

I'm with the rest of everyone, i'd definately say the powervalves are set incorrectly. Especially since it just had a re-build, chances are that the powervalves re re-installed in an incorrect position. Talk to your local motorbike shop, they should be able to get their hands on a manual for you...

    Sponsorship: Should I, shouldn't I

Hey Ruby, Its a real predicament you find yourself in. There are so many different factors that can affect your decision. I've been at a high level of sport myself and i completely understand how it can get to a point where you no longer enjoy it, thats the time when you have to say fuck...

    still droolin Daytona 119cc

Sixeven, I was more refering to the stroker/head/cam kit that i had the link to in my first post. I am assuming that this kit can be put onto a china engine and thats why i said i thought it would struggle to reach the 18HP. However, since the kit has a new crank as well, the only china parts...

    still droolin Daytona 119cc

I think 18HP might be dreaming a little bit. I won't say that its NOT possible, but for a china engine i think you'd be really stretching the friendship. Also, with gear driven cams, the associated loss of mechanical power through the geartrain is a lot more than through a chain and sprockets...

    still droolin Daytona 119cc

Thats awesome!!! Had a quick look on the net about it, details are as follows; Big 4 Valve Head 2 gear driven cams 21mm intake valve and 18mm exhaust valve 54mm Aluminum Cylinder 52mm Crankshaft You can buy the kit over the net to do it to your bike. The kit includes all the above...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

I will only add one thing to this jack. A mechanical blower, or a turbo for that matter will actually increase the air temperature by a certain amount. This happens because when air is increased in pressure, the temperature increases with it (due to a change in enthalpy). I'm not gonna go...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

There is only one thing i can say to that Pegleg... You should go and join her!!!!! Mind you, i would say this, my missus lives in melbourne, an hour and a half away from me, i only get to see her on the weekends :( No worries mate, look forward to hearing your response Cheers

Busted By The Cops - Your tales

To be honest, i think this post is a bit of a wank. If your going to ride illigally, u know its illigal so don't bitch and whinge when you cop a fine. The cops are just doing their jobs. Its different if your not doing something illigal, like pushing your bike along the footpath while u stand...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

Pegleg, I'm a bit confused as to how an oil can contain a viscosity modifier. I understand the principle behind it, but wouldn't this change the viscosity rating to a single number instead of a 10W40 or 15W50 where as i understand it the first number is the cold viscosity and the second...

I'm with the pirate ^^^^^^ I'd be keen to find out how it was done.

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

I spoke to a few guys i work with at lunchtime about the whole 2 stroke nitrous thing, and we kind of determined that there was no real reason that it couldn't be done. One of them just sent me through an email with the following link; Motorcycle Accessories Nitrous Oxide Injection...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

Once the nitrous is in the chamber, would there be a problem with a) the density of the gas being smaller hence the chamber not being filled as much as usual b) lack of fuel in the system causing a lean out and detonation I know when turboing or supercharging (which is similar principle to...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

I agree Ruby, i think a direct shot straight into the cylinder would definately be the way to do it. I don't think it would be incredibly hard to do either. If the NOS shot was controlled by a solenoid valve or something, you could wire up another set of contacts onto the flywheel, similar to...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

Mmmmmmm, i did think that myself while i was writing the post. It is true, the constant heat generated would be enough to negate the more viscous oil i would assume, but without actually doing some calcs on it or even better, testing it, i can't say either way. It is an interesting concept...

This is what happens when u fit NOS to a pocket bike

Cactus Jack, Thanks for that, you make a very valid point in your argument. It would be my assumption that quite a lot of Nitrous Oxide would be required in a 2 stroke as compared to a 4 stroke. As you said, the NO2 reduces the temperature of the inlet air hence making the air denser. On a...

    Vent Your Hatred Here!

I hate it when your at work, using a computer program that doesn't have an auto-save function built in and because you've got so much crap opened up at once your computer crashes making you lose your last hours worth of work. I especially hate it when i've got a headache caused from the...
