Hey guys, just finish cleaning my carb and tunning it.

I played with the air/fuel screw a bit, and at first had trouble with getting the bike to stay at a constant rpm....

but after like 4 hours of probbing, i turned the air fuel screw (which was all the way in) out about 2 and a half turns.

Now to be honest, it works amazingly better, the response from the throttle is perfect and the rpms are constant.

The problem is, the whole bike is running bloody hot, and i mean hotter than i ever seen.

Even the stator cover is cooking.....

what could be causing this?

cheers

here's a basic list of things to look at..

main jet size?
valve clearances?
air leaks?
spark plug?
sht fuel?
cam timing?

really just gotta sus everything out..

under exhausted can be a problem too, but only being a 125 i doubt this is the cause..

before adjusting the mixture screw u should really service the carby and clean the fuel tank and clean your air filter install a new spark plug run the engine up to running temperature than adjust the mixture screw in 1/8th turns untill u get it to run as u would like take it for a 10min ride and check the spark plug is the correct tan color and make adjustments as needed
