140 Zongshen Or 140 lifan?

Hey guys, its time for a new engine
im still deciding witch engine to get, both engine are the same price
its either 140 Zongshen or 140 Lifan, im looking for more grunty engine
any help will be great Thanks!:boxe:

On paper there dont seem to be much between them, even in price.

I think the zong has a slighty bigger bore. Best ask someone thats had experience with these motors.

id go with the zonger 140.. the lifan is an out dated engine these days..

power wise they will be the same..
lifan 140 come standard with a large steel oil slinger and the zonger comes with a alloy/steel version and is much lighter. the zonger will spin up faster in rpm's..
also the zonger 140 has the upgraded case, lifan 140 im not too sure off..

match the zonger 140 with an oko26mm carb kit and a nice exhaust and youll be in for shock..
also the zonger have wat some class as better internal gearing.. better suited for track work..

Yeah, i liked the zonger more then the lifan. Witch exhaust would go best with the zonger?

that would do fine, they sound awesome and seem to give good power unlike the pro circuit copies (sound sht)... that link is for the crf50 style

Thanks sean, is the zonger a Crf stlye head or klx? and also would it bolt onto a klx style frame?
