160ho build choice

i would like to do some mods to my 160ho.i was thinking a tb v2 head with decomp,would this be enough or would i have to go the 184 big bore kit.i have heard the 184 does not last long and is hard to get the power to the ground.any advice or sugestions would be great.cheers

Hey mate, from everything I've read the v2 head is plenty to keep you entertained for a while! A few people have said the v2 was enough for them and once installed they didn't feel the need for the 184 kit

A 64mm piston on the 160ho makes it a 177.
I think the best all round set up is a 160 with v2 and a good Carbie.

thanks for your advice guys.would i also need to add a decomp with the v2 set up and would i have to up grade the exhaust to get the best out of the set up.cheers

Your best off to run a de comp.
As for the exhaust it depends on what pipe you currently have weather you need to upgrade it or not

i am just running the standard lxr one,would that do or would i get better results with some thing like a pro circuit t4.

The stock lxr pipe will be fine. The pc pipe is better though
