2008 DHZ 140 Front brake

Is the standard front brake crap or is just mine? Takes a bit to pull up and thats with slicks on the road. Just feels like it should be pulling up harder... going to bleed the brakes and check if thats the prob. Any upgrades to make it better?

a few things to try

1. GOOD fluid is a start
2. Adjustable lever, the closer the lever is to the grips the less arm pump you'll get. Adjust it so 100% braking is just off the bars
3. Check you have good disk usage, you might need to go up a disk size.

yours is crapped up if it dont pull in..

i have a 08 dhz monster original front brakes only changed the disc and it does stoppies easy as... though i do have billet mx style levrs so there fairly long which does help a bit

if you have a leaking fork seal it will kill your braking too... brake pads get soaked in oil

is there brake upgrades as such for a motovert rx?

apart from the tips mentioned above obviously?

if you got good pressure at the lever and clean pads thats as good as it gets .
try different pad compounds if you can get em.
