Right so i have scrapped my daytona and purchased a GPX125. Now after searching it seems the PE24 and OKO 26 are the better carbs. I was running a PE28 on the daytona (125 main). Bottom end suffered and the plug was black- performance was still respectable. Am i better off going down a few mm for road riding or sticking with it?

28 is pretty damn huge on a 125 motor.

I would be going either a 24mm or 26mm.

They were my thoughts also from searching here. In two minds as which one now. The bloke has a new PE24 for $100 with air filter/ jet kit and DHZ have the oko26 for $110.

Is the PE24 a genuine Keihin?
It'll have a serial number stamped into the main body below the pe

It will make the bike behave a bit more for road riding, and give you a lot better bottom end
The OKO 26 would be good if you like a big top end

It was a genuine PE24 but i've already ordered the OKO!! Dont really need bottom end punch, more top end/ cruising speed- Bike is a z50J1 so wont take much to loft the front wheel
