Elstars 700 mm AS-02's are at a good price ....... I felt a bike with a set of AS-02's fitted and the springs feel too soft with a lot of sag ...... Do they build up pressure inside and get stiffer under operating conditions or do they stay the same ?????? As they are , they feel like they'd need a fair bit of shimming to get the preload right ...... then they could possibly coil bind earlier giving reduced travel ..........

So you mentioned before that you don't believe that Genuine AS-01's are out yet mountain ? I'm wary of fake copies myself .... Everyone I check with to buy a set of 730's gets cold feet when it comes to the crunch of a price with postage ....... they either talk about bar clamp problems or show pics of forks with the wrong type of bar clamp
