Atomik Fury XR250 recommendations please

Hello All

I have just purchased an Atomik Fury XR250 (Still waiting for it to arrive)>

Reading these forums, I notice recommendations to change engine & fork oil, what Engine oil is recommended? Also what weight fork oil and how much cc per tube? Any other initial recommendations would also be appreciated.

The bike is just going to be used for basic trail riding.

Also I bought my son a TorPro TPR125, would appreciate any initial recommendations for this bike also.

both bikes will take the same oil
castrol activ 4t mineral oil or similar

as for the forks, it depends how they go for your weight..
if you change the oil then you need to measure what comes out of each leg first (with a measuring cup) then change the weight to either heavier or thinner oil and refill to a little under what was in there originally.. then add more if needed 20mls at a time..

both bikes will require and oil change and valve clearance adjustment.
also go over all the bolts and check there tight
